Just An Experiment With Alpha Inventions

This is a quick experiment to check how quickly Alpha Inventions visits this site after I write a post that mentions their name.

I have written an extensive response to a question about Alpha Inventions on Build Your Traffic.  http://is.gd/n1hU and did NOT submit the post to their site.

There were 201 views from Alpha Inventions, without it being submitted to their search engine, between 5:10 and 7.27.  (130.2 minutes – 201 views = 1.5438 views per minute – with no direct submission – just using their own search engine looking for their own name)

These are the page view results for No Tall Poppies over the past few days:
9 March 2009 210 views
10March 2009 116 views
11March 2009 101 views
12March 2009 5257 views
13March 2009 6231 views
14March 2009 638 views
15March 2009 24 views
16March 2009 2 views (at time of update)

Since all these resulted without the actual post being submitted directly to the Alpha Inventions search engine, and there are a very wide range of referrral sources apart from Alpha Inventions alone, it will take some time to distill the data. It will be published here – as soon as it is ready – probably in about three or four days time.

Thanks, Peter. I am really looking forward to breaking out the numbers. It is very exciting when you are on their site to see your own blog in the reading pane – but I have never yet see my own blog actually displayed. Apparently that is part of Chenu’s strategy – you only get to actually “view” the blogs of others.

  6. Hey sweet lady. Stopping by to check in on ya.

    Hi Cheru

I have been meaning to catch up with you because I see there is some great activity going on at AlphaInventions. I will call you later – we have to chat. Cheers Lesley
