Tax Free Thresholds and Australian Pensions

Avoiding having unnecessary tax withheld from pensions and annuity payments is a key issue for some retirees, because in many cases they either do not need to lodge a tax return or need only to claim a refund of franking credits – on a very simple ATO form.
