Lesley Dewar is a major sponsor of the Swan Districts Football Club for the 2008-2009 season being the premier sponsor for the Swan Districts Junior Development Squad – that fields the Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16’s teams – the future of the club.
What a great year 2008 was for the Swan Districts Football Club. We had our league, reserves and colts all qualify for the finals, league and colts in the Grand Final and the colts have won the premiership for the second successive year.
We had over 300,000 people watching the Grand Final on ABC and over 23,000 loyal footy fans came to the ground in horrible weather conditions (over 90% were barracking for the Swans).
We have had enormous media coverage this year and have the highest match attendance of any team in the WAFL.

We saw the first of our young players in the Swan Districts Junior Development Squad out and about this week -with our logo on the back of his football jumper.
Very exciting for us – there will be a raft of young blokes running around, similarly decked out, over the next few months and we are delighted to be contributing to local junior sport.
